Mrs. Ninneman's Kindergarten class from Union Grove Elementary teamed up with Ms. Laabs International Foods class to learn about the first day of Spring! They learned about the Tulip Festival in Canada, the Festival of Colors (Holi) in India, and bracelet making from Bulgaria! 🌍🌷🍎🥝

Engineering students are competing today with their underwater ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) at the Seaperch regional competition! They are judged on a mission, obstacle, and presentation. Results to come!!

Yesterday, we hosted a mass band concert with students from UG Elementary School, Yorkville, Raymond, and Kansasville. They joined our Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble. The concert was conducted by Professor Laura Rexroth, Director of Bands at UW-Parkside.

🔴 Juniors will be taking the ACT test on Tuesday, March 12. There will be no school for grades 9, 10, 12.
Juniors- report to the cafeteria for a light breakfast. There will be early dismissal in the afternoon, once the ACT is finished.

Learn about local and state disability services and resources available for families at the Special Needs Resource Fair on May 7 at Fox River Middle School. This is a joint event with Burlington, Waterford and Union Grove schools.
International Foods is making their way through Asia and trying new dishes while learning about different cultures! Last week, students were making homemade sushi and designing a sushi plate with all of the traditional elements! 🍣
