This term, students explored a variety of techniques, including colored pencil drawings, watercolor contour line and shape paintings, positive and negative space ink value paintings, and scribble shape pencil drawings.
Throughout these projects, students were challenged to use a wide range of color and value while creating compositions that are full, balanced, and visually engaging.

🏡 A proud Union Grove native, Brittany shared that even with her deep roots in the community, she learned so much through the experience and was incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
Leadership Union Grove brings together local leaders to learn more about our community and collaborate on projects that make a lasting impact. This year's class developed a project to commemorate historic sites throughout Union Grove with plaques that will be displayed on the exterior of buildings around the community.
Brittany's celebration was made even more special when several of her students surprised her with a banner to cheer her on (and maybe to enjoy a cupcake or two! 🧁).
Union Grove High School is proud to have sponsored several staff members through this outstanding program over the years, helping them grow as leaders and strengthen their connection to our community.
