For the first year ever UG Girls tried out Flag Football this past weekend in a Verona tournament. Sammie Hafferkamp won the fastest girl at the tournament as she dominated the 40 yard dash in the Skills Challenge. They had a blast!
Over spring break, the Spanish Club traveled to Costa Rica. During their trip, the students visited a coffee plantation, ziplined in the jungle, played soccer with local elementary school, and hiked to volcano lava fields. They also saw wildlife in the jungle- like sloths, toucans and monkeys! 🦥🐒🐦🎋

Congratulations to the Forensics Team for their amazing performances at the SLC Conference Meet this past Saturday. Honorable Mentions were won by Raymond Gomez in Extemporary Speaking, Liam Adcock in Farrago, and Laurel Anderson in Prose. Third Place winners include Jolene Welch in Extemporary Speaking and Jack Peterson in Oratory Speaking. A special congratulations goes out to Brianna DeWitt who is the SLC Public Address Conference Champion!
Congratulations to Freshman Camden Rugg who was the only Wrestling representative from the Southern Lakes Conference nominated for the Academic All-State team, and he made first team! Awesome job Camden for being a great representative for Union Grove on and off the wrestling mat. Keep up the great work.

Engineering students are competing today with their underwater ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) at the Seaperch regional competition! They are judged on a mission, obstacle, and presentation. Results to come!!

Yesterday, we hosted a mass band concert with students from UG Elementary School, Yorkville, Raymond, and Kansasville. They joined our Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble. The concert was conducted by Professor Laura Rexroth, Director of Bands at UW-Parkside.
