JP Cullen Donates $20,000

Union Grove High School is excited to announce a $20,000 donation from JP Cullen to support the ongoing expansion of our Technology Education department. The funds will be used to help purchase new precision milling machines, expanding hands-on learning opportunities for students interested in manufacturing and engineering careers.

The donation will also serve as a key part of the matching funds required for the Wisconsin Fast Forward (WFF) Grant, which the district applied for in May. If awarded, the grant and matching funds will help enhance technical education programming and align student learning with local and regional workforce needs.

“This donation is a testament to the powerful partnerships we’re building between our school and industry leaders,” said Tom Johnson, District Administrator. “JP Cullen’s support will directly impact our students by expanding access to high-quality, career-focused education that aligns with local workforce needs. We are grateful for their investment in the future of our students and our community.”

The new milling machines will be an important addition to the school’s equipment, giving students experience with the kind of technology they will encounter in technical colleges, apprenticeships, and industry settings. These upgrades are part of the district’s broader efforts to strengthen Career and Technical Education and prepare students for high-demand careers.

"At JP Cullen, we believe in building more than just structured - we are committed to building futures. Supporting Union Grove High School's expansion of its Technology Education program is an investment in the next generation of skilled professionals. We're proud to help provide students with the tools and training they need to succeed in high-demand careers and strengthen our local workforce." Sean Cullen - Owner and Director of Business Development, JP Cullen

The equipment is expected to be installed and operational in time for the 2026–2027 school year, pending grant approval.
